Bones is a 10 year old registered Paint that began to lose his competitive edge. X-rays discovered initial changes in the shape of his navicular bone. Even though this gelding had very healthy feet, this diagnosis required him to need a significant amount of heal growth to increase his angles. In addition, we needed to accelerate his overall hoof growth to accommodate the frequent resetting of his heart bar shoes. Candy is a 7 year old registered Quarter Horse that spent the early part of her career on the race track. By the time she came to me she had mastered the art of cribbing and was very thin.
